This has taken way too long for me to write, but I’m pretty much out of options at this point. I’m coming up on a financial tight spot that I can’t wiggle my way around, and I need some serious help–for those who are interested, here’s a breakdown of the situation:

• I’ve been unemployed for going on a year now, and due to a variety of conditions both mental and environmental, I’m unable to work outside the house for the foreseeable future.
  
• My roommates and I are getting hit with a $500 electricity bill (about four times the average) that we’re trying to contest, but is more than likely going to have to be paid and then refunded. Split four ways, that’s $125.
• Thanks to a series of stressful and unfortunate events, I have been without proper cellphone service for nearly a month and I owe Sprint over $200, woohoo!
• I’ve also just recently been made aware of an issue with the insurance claim for the trip I took to the hospital a year ago–I’m no longer insured, which means I either have to fight BCBS or come up with another $200 for a hospital in a state I don’t even live in anymore.
• Thanks to an extremely generous roommate, I got a little bit of leniency for last month’s rent and I’ve been paying her back as I get the cash, but I still owe her roughly $175, the end of the month is coming up again, and she can’t afford to cover my broke ass again. 

All told, that’s close to $1000 I’ve got to come up with, and thanks to the anxiety that’s kept me from posting this sooner, I don’t have a lot of time to do it, so if you’ve gotten this far and you feel like helping, you can:

• Commission me! I have a post here with more information, or just message me and say “hey, can you do x?” The answer will probably be yes.
  
• Buy a shirt! My current Teespring campaign is here, and I’ll likely be putting up some more designs soon.
• Sponsor me for NaNoWriMo! This is an idea I’ve had stewing for a while and I don’t have a solid layout yet, but I’ll update this post when I do (and in the meantime, message me if you’re interested!)

Yay! I’m good, got MFA last may and I’m now back to old job at deaf school working as overnight dorm staff (so I can draw during overnight). But, I’m asking to transfer to day shift because I can’t stand overnight and missing out of the day ha. How’s oregon? It’s a beautiful state!

Oregon is /beautiful/! Like everywhere you look is just…lush and green and rich with life and colorful! We live near the coast too, so we have the woods and mountains, and then the added bonus of seeing the beach too! <3
